I was watching TV last night and this commercial came on. It was for an mp3 player or something. So, I'm hearing this riff in the commercial that sounds like the one from Aerosmith's Walk This Way. Then this woman starts singing. It didn't take me long to figure out by the woman's voice that she was Macy Gray. I just couldn't believe it! One of my favorite band's songs was being covered by one of my least favorite singers! Was this just a promotional thing, or does she actually have this song on one of her albums? I sure hope not.

Macy Gray will combine her three albums into one with the release of The Very Best of Macy Gray in November.

The album will include 'Love Is Gonna Get You', her theme from the movie Miss Match starring Alicia Silverstone and Ryan O'Neal.

There is also a Norman Cook remix of 'Sexual Revolution' from 'ID', a Gang Starr mix of 'I've Committed Murder' from 'Oh How Life Is' and a 'Bugz In The Attic' remix of 'When I See You' from 'Trouble With Being Myself'.

She has also recorded the new song 'Walk This Way' for the album.
