The last time Bon Jovi played Columbus was on May 10, 2011. The setlist contained no surprises and Richie wasn't present.

A graph showcasing the order of album and single tracks. A peak indicates the chart position in the Billboard Hot 100, thus a crowd possibly knowing such a song. The more peaks, the more familiar a crowd is with the entire set. In case no peak is noted the song either didn't chart or wasn't released as a single.

Songs played per album:

Seb I like the graphs but I have to say, I am still confused on some of them. Why do the peaks drop completely on songs like Make a Memory, Blood on Blood, Sleep When I'm Dead? I know it says if it wasn't released as a single OR it didn't chart, but I don't think those two things should be the same thing. Yeah, the line should be completely at the bottom for songs like We Got it Goin' On and Work for the Working Man, but to say the crowd isn't going to know Make a Memory, Blood on Blood, and Sleep When I'm Dead at all either doesn't make sense to me.

The graph is wrong for Memory, I just noticed this now that you mentioned this. I'll correct it.

I agree with certain songs that the line shouldn't be that low as many people will recognize certain non-hits but I've got to use some criteria here, which are the Billboard Hot 100 chart positions. I can't just put a peak in the graph and put Blood On Blood at 50 simply because there's the assumption that people know it.

However, ask anyone in America what they think of Sleep and they haven't
got any clue what song it is. It charted at 97 (I know pretty much all chart positions for America from the top of my head now after making so many graphs) and the low chart position for Sleep was the reason why the record company didn't bother to even release I Believe and Dry County there. As a matter of fact, more people will dig We Got It Goin' On over Born To Follow, while the latter is the one that'll show up as a peak in the graph.

The same goes for Blood On Blood. Most 40+ year olds will know the song, but anyone in their twenties who became a fan because of It's My Life over there won't recognize the song at all. At the same time It's My Life only charted at 33 in America yet stayed in the chart for months. While Bad Medicine made it to number 1 based upon both sales and airplay, It's My Life made it to 33 based upon airplay only, where it stayed for a very long time.

So yeah, the graph is just merely an indication as to how familiar a crowd is with the songs, and when looking at them it still gives you a rather good idea at the pace of the show. Once the band will hit Germany or the U.K. you'll see big differences in the peaks (Bad Medicine only made it to 54 in Germany), yet when looking at the bigger picture it's still one of the peaks in the graph, hence people knowing it.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
