The last time (with the exception of the promo show last year) Bon Jovi played Stuttgart was May 28, 2008.

The setlist contained 6 surprises; The Last Night replaced These Days, Bounce replaced Last Man Standing, Drift Away was done as a request with Bobby doing spectacular lead vocals, Living In Sin and Wild Is The Wind opened the encore and Any Other Day closed the show.

The band did play in Mannheim, which is relatively close to Stuttgart, on July 16, 2011 though. I was at this show, and it was one of the best Bon Jovi shows I have seen. The setlist contained 7 surprises; The Radio Saved My Life and I Get A Rush were played, with the addition of Miss Fourth Of July, which was a spontaneous decision if my memory serves me right. No Apologies was added to the main set, and the encore opened with a spectacular rendition of Hey God. Hallelujah was added as a request, and the show ended with Love's The Only Rule. Yes, good times. Which is making this current tour such a sad experience...

A graph showcasing the order of album and single tracks. A peak indicates the chart position in the Billboard Hot 100, thus a crowd possibly knowing such a song. The more peaks, the more familiar a crowd is with the entire set. In case no peak is noted the song either didn't chart or wasn't released as a single.

Songs played per album:

I planned on going to this show (Stuttgart houses the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche factories...drool), but when Richie was out, so was I. This area has a reputation of getting good shows, but with Cologne, the last show for Germany, being on the next day, and ticket sales having been very slow for this one, I'm not expecting anything wonderful this time around. For those who are going; I hope I'm wrong!

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Please stop using that yellow color for the graph. I can only see the Mc Donalds sign. Damn I'm hungry.

Aloha !

According to Thierry the Diamond Circle isn't even half full, several people, including him, have been offered a free VIP tour. Then again, he might be bullshitting me anyway, trying to make me jealous for not being there.

BUT I JUST BOUGHT MYSELF A NEW EXHAUST PIPE BABY.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Someone posted on Twitter that Guano Apes (?) is opening. Not familiar with that band. Guess I need to Google.

At least the Fanclub gave free upgrade again. And a friend Posted a Photo of a pavillion that was somewhere in the crowd Last time and now is at the entrance . So the used area of the field is way smaller than last time.

Why? What's Jon's problem with exhaust pipes? I really needed a new one, the other one was leaking.
