Holy sh*t, they totally ignored the 2000 -2013 era for Jon.

Wow, Richie wished a happy birthday to Jon on Twitter. One day too late but still.

"Happy birthday JBJ... RS"

He wrote it from Hawaii and I guess the time difference allowed him to be on time. A friend of mine actually did the calculations.

Richie wrote his tweet to Jon at 4:30AM our time (European)
Hawaii is 11 behind us so for him it was 3:30PM the day before (Jon's birthday)
and NYC apparently is five hours ahead of Hawaii so for Jon it was 8:30PM

Not sure when you saw it, but he actually tweeted on the 2nd.

It is difficult for Jon to respond when Richie has not included the name of the person addressed (@jonbonjovi) on twiiter.

I don't think it's a surprise to anyone who follows him that Richie isn't the most Twitter savvy guy around. But all the replies took care of that anyway, since most of them included @jonbonjovi. I'm sure JBJ got the message.

And apologies to Tom_K. Looks like he tweeted quite late on Mar 2; so it probably was a day late in many parts of the world.

That may have been intentional!

That makes sense, didn't pay attention to the time it was posted.
