Okay, so I realise this is kind of a dumb question, but it'll bother me if I don't ask - Why would they release two different singles simultaneously? I'm in Australia, and im not sure Welcome would do so well...I mean, IML and Everyday were the only two singles from Crush and Bounce that really got any airplay. Something tells me that Who Says would fare better. But why!

Because Who says is perfect for the american radio stations... its an easy and catchy song that will be a great hit single... the rest of the world will probably accept welcome better, because it's a slow and kinda self-helpish song.

Who Says would do better if it was released globally. That song is really catchy and will be a hit. I'm getting kind of bored of it now though after a few listens.

I dont think welcome will win any new fans here inthe uk, i would be surprised if the single got in the top 15. Its one of the weaker tracks in the album for sure.
The only way it will do well is if it has a great bonus track on it,maybe one of the songs that didnt quite make the album? then maybe the uk jovi fans will buy it.

the US guys like songs about "home" so they decided to bring that one up- internationally everyone expects a ballad so they come up with welcome internationally... like i said- both songs are crap- welcome at least has some nice music so maybe the band hopes that no-one outside the states lends an ear to those horrible lyrics.

I like songs about towns ... like Two Story Town, or Higher Ground by Thunder ... just thought I'd share that!
