So I had no idea this had release as an SACD. Does any of you guys have it and perhaps could make a short review of it ?

Cheers,

Are SACD's one of those types where it's easy to split the tracks into individual files? Like a multi track?

I think I have it - gotta dig if I do. I am almost sure I have Bounce as SACD. I only have one player that still plays this format.

I had a few on SACD but I never had the proper set up to get the best from them.
This was back in the day where everyone started listening to CDs via a DVD player and getting sound through a TV. Not good.
You needed a good amp and 5.1 surround sound to get best out of it.

Exactly! And the quality of the audio is better than a CD.

*so no

Well I have done a comparison with the CD and the SACD is marginally more crisp sounding, however, no marginal improvement.

Cheers!

Yeah from what I read, it was done in Japan by (I guess) Sony and the original CD was just remastered, not a new mix from the band's original multi-tracks. I guess that was only explored further with Bounce since the SACD got released around the time of the original album.

Are there isolated instrumental tracks from the Bounce album floating around? I'd love to hear a more stripped down mix on some of the tracks; less strings or effects, for example.
