According to this, the new guitarist for Bon Jovi... but it also says Phil played on BB which we know isn't true... so who knows.

Grain of salt...

This really sucks, I liked a lot how Phil played and his mood on the stage. The , IMO, one of the bests I'e heard in a long time.

Wondering why he left? Maybe he wants to be with his wife as is pregnant again?

Also, it says that they're touring Europe and "other places" next year.

Who the hell is Matt O'Ree?
He's a friend of David's, here's the connection. David's been playing with Matt's band in NJ and in Italy for a couple of years:

Now I won't believe it until I see it. In 1983/4 MTV announced that Bobby Bandiera was the new E Street Band member now that Steve had left to pursue his solo career and... nope! The new guitarist was Nils Lofgren.

Today Phil X tweeted he was flying to Jakarta for the mini Asian tour.

I was just going to post that.

Really hope this isn't true.

Maybe he's not taking Phil's place, but he's taking Bobby's place. Or they're just going to have another guitarist for a fuller sound or to alternate instruments. They might spice things up with some banjo or mandolin or something funky.

"A new face will be on stage when Bon Jovi takes the stage in Jakarta, Indonesia on Friday, Sept. 11.

It's Matt O'Ree, the Jersey guitar ace who will replace Bobby Bandiera as touring guitarist for the band's upcoming shows in Asia and the Middle East, according to multiple sources."
