Default My Gf Said Jon's Songs Are...

She observed that his songs always seem to be in need of a saviour. Also, she said he seem to need a "mother-type" woman cuz he seem to always be in need to make it thru... a mother but with the sex benefits. lol

Do you agree or not? And its not bashing or anything, we both love Bon Jovi songs. My new theme song on life is "Any Other Day" - pertaining to her...

I don't agree at all about either. There are too many songs to list that have nothing to do with either.

I've always thought that Jon didn't need anyone to tell him how to live his life.

Yet he is soo proud he can live his life in any weird way he wants with all his money, and yet he keeps rubbing that in.... every single time

Jon is a pretty strong human being whether it be opinions, will, etc...I think we all know that. Although throughout the Lost Highway album, every song talks about a person going through troubles and needing someone "strong" to help them get through it. (ie. Whole Lotta Leavin, Any Other Day, Everybody's Broken, Last Night)

He co-wrote Keep The Faith, of course he's desperate to find somebody to save him

True in his more "in-your-face" songs, esp. lately(Its My Life, Bounce, Have a Nice Day, etc.), but the number of his "I need you songs"/ballads far outnumbers the former. Almost all of his slower songs, even the breakup songs, sounds too needy.

Obviously, can you imagine a song that said "well, we're breaking up, and it was nice but whatever, It doesn't affect me".

come to think of it, that could work.
