Default Bon Jovi is not getting better.

I think Jon does care about music anymore.
MANA a band for latin american it's getting older but they make a new album in 2011 and the first song it's a hit, and the second it will be too.
Gloria Trevi has been in bussness for a long time and she make a album and all the song were hit in 2011.
Enrique Iglesia has been in music for a long time and they make a hit too.
U2 when a album goes out sell a lot.
Metallica they are old too, and they still are creative.
Even Madona still sound great for youn people.

Or maybe the blame it's our , the fans. Not even one hit in Latin America after it's my life.

So my point is that Jon is not as creative as he used to be. I think now he care more about money. and he does care about great music anymore.

We've had threads of this nature before, but just for kicks...

Enrique Iglasia hasn't been around for half the time Bon Jovi has.

U2's last album didn't sell all that well, better than the Circle sure, but not by monumental proportions. Not that sales are a good indication of an artists creative abilities. And if you you were to ask me, while U2 tends to get all the love from the critics, i would always prefer to listen to Bon Jovi.

And Metallica has put out 2 albums in the past decade to Bon Jovi's 5. Now, i realize quantity isn't greater than quality but 2003's St. Anger was generally met with disappointment from fans

I mean i'm disagreeing with your general point that Bon Jovi's lacks the musical creativity but some of these comparisons don't really do anything to highlight or amplify that sediment, at least for to me...

Jovi records are still selling a lot. They just don't make hit singles anymore.

So what? This Gloria Trevi isn't even known somehwere else than in Latin America.

Bon Jovi never really was a band for singles but their albums reach No. 1 in loads of countries. If not in Latin America, so what?

What? Having hit singles and being popular do not equal being creative.
It's the opposite too often.

Bon Jovi's albums still sell very well given their first originated in 1983!

As for creativity, sure, that may have suffered a little due to multiple releases this decade but I for one feel The Circle, on the whole, was a really good record in that respect - far better than U2's No Line On The Horizon; which paled incomparison to their previous album.

Sure, Jon seems far more money-minded than ever right now but I don't think his art is suffering for that.
