Don't know how popular they are outside Canada, but they're getting decently big here, they're just doing a theater tour across Canada in 2000 capacity venues. Anyone heard of them or interested? I have all 4 albums and they're really unique and great. If you're into indie rock, you might like this band.

...tell your children, that their time has just begun!

What a great line. Anyhow, never heard of them. What are some good songs?
I realised, we don't do this often enough on this forum. Properly introduce each other to smaller or local bands. We used to do this loads in previous years.

For example, there's this indie rock band from my hometown that I used to like when I was younger (and confused and all that blah).

They're called URMA (translating into TRACE) they sing in English...and I think that many people should know them.

Anyway, sorry for digressing...

Yeah, if I was to recommend a few songs, it would be Hayloft (for the sheer oddness of the song) and The Stand. Those were the songs that got me into them and helped me get in to them. I'm seeing them live for the second time tomorrow, so I'm pretty stoked for that.

Hayloft -

The Stand - (probably their biggest song, I think)

I'm starting to get into rock bands that are doing things new, interesting and current. It sounds like they wouldn't come off good live, but they're actually quite good!
