It's been doctored. The vocals have been remixed and put through autotune.

Also, I've noticed that, whenever Jon goes for the higher notes in the chorus, the camere switches every single time. Just watch, whenever Jon's hitting the "coming home" line the camere changes. I think it shows him singing it only once.

Everett was prominent (to my ears) in Dublin on a few songs but so was Phil.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. But don't know if it was done on purpose, or if it's just a strange choice or coincidence.

I'm pretty sure MSG 2008 was edited for Always at the very least. I'd be surprised if there's many official recordings out there that haven't had something added.

Probably, but strangely enough not to the extent one would assume, at least not in recent years. The MetLife 2013 recording was the most doctored one I can remember, but the THINFS live series seem (almost) not doctored to me, otherwise I cannot explain why they didn't "fix" the vocals, like they did in the RRHOF for example. So, it can be done (and even I would know how to tune stuff), and it's only one song at a time. So either Jon doesn't want it, doesn't give a damn, or they're being lazy. But then, please don't release stuff at all (bar the current video, which is fine).
