Default Surprise act?

Anyone else thinking we will get a surprise band joining the guys on stage this leg?

It would certainly help jons voice and extend the set from 20-24 songs on “big” shows.

This hasn't happened since...2010? We had them being joined by Kid Rock, Bob Geldof, and Rihanna.

If Jon was interested in doing something like that (getting a guest and jamming for a cover), I'm sure that would have happened last week with Def Leppard.

I don't blame him to be honest, because he is such a bad singer that he would get totally upstaged even by his peers in their 50s.

I can't see there not being something pulled out of the bag at Wembley, whether it's a special guest or two or three songs not played so far on this tour.

Regardless of what some say on this board, it's just too big of a show to play the same run of the mill set. Worth remembering it's being billed as the bands return to Wembley after 19 years.

One's gotta be honest though: over the course of 3 nights in 1995, the only real difference was I Don't Like Mondays with Bob Geldof and over the course of 2 nights in 2000, the only difference was them doing London Calling as an opener on night 2.
Other than that, there weren't any surprises or significant changes to other subsequent tour shows of the respective era.

And Thank You For Loving Me which was only played on night 2 in 2000

They did 7 on night 1 and 8 on night 2. But around 7 settings were standard on the tour back then.
I agree that these are numbers that are totally unreal today.
