I reckon that's because everyone thinks it's way too tiring to call you out on being wrong as you're acting way too batshit crazy with your hypotheses and the way you draw conclusions to certain things.

You seem to have the need to desperately come across as some journalist bringing the news, but you really, really lack common sense in most cases, or even some knowledge about the subject you try to analyze in the first place. So when someone with a bit more knowledge than you starts discussing things with you, you come up with poor comebacks and silly punchlines as opposed to a well thought out reply that would actually make sense for a change.

DevilsSon is making more sense here, and anyone who knows the history I've got with that guy knows I think he's a wanker most of the time. (Ammirite Valerio? Or whatever your name is) But he knows what he's talking about, even by giving you perfect examples as to why it doesn't work the way people on here assume it does. There is just no way anyone knows how much money Jon's got, no one does but Jon and his business advisers, which is why the entire discussion as to whether Jon can or can't do something is pointless, as are your beloved never to be wrong hypotheses.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

What the hell is going on here? The latest few posts in this thread make me seriously question why on Earth I am even participating in this discussion.
Most of those acts are there because of the success they had in the past. Tell me one hit that draw many people to them (besides BS maybe) Most people of the audience know the older hits. And yes, most of the women attending it are not the usual concert crowd. Hardly anybody is there because of a song like Army Of One or Amen. Of course it takes a lot of hard work and organizational skills to plan a tour but we are not talking about one person here.
Jon knows how to sell himself but he is repeating the same patterns over and over again. I am not saying he is stupid.

A difference of opinion doesn't automatically equate to being wrong or crazy. And I had enough "common sense" to have predicted this very outcome TEN weeks ago -- it defied "common sense" that billionaires like Tannenbaum and Rogers would have any use for a "mere" millionaire like Jon!

I was as right as the Fox News Channel in this case (which I thank DevilsSon for acknowledging), so nyah nyah nyah (which should fulfill my silly comeback quota for the day).

We are both talking about the exact same thing: me in "Everyday English" and you in "Everyday Finance-Speak," LOL!

In order to be considered the principal owner, Bon Jovi must contribute at least 30% of the sale price in cash. If the group were to increase their bid to $1.4 billion, that means Bon Jovi would have to contribute $420 million of his own money.

According to the Toronto Sun report, Bon Jovi has an approximate net worth of $500 million. Therefore it would seem unlikely that the group would be able to top their current bid without pushing Bon Jovi to the background.

$420 million cash of his own money. I just don't see this happening for him.

God knows why Jon would want all this hassle? He said he didn't want to be a politician as half of the population would hate you to begin with, but its hardly much different with sports fans- and he's taking flak off his own team that he would own.

It's an outrage -- how DARE they charge $16.99!!!

P.S. Substitute the president of the United States for the Bon Jovi, and they win a visit from the Secret Service...

Like him or hate him, that t-shirt is appalling.

It's a football team FFS.

Not to mention highly disrespectful to those who have been impacted by those dictators/terrorists.
