Interestingly today's show was shown on SiriusXM as Encore! 12/03/2016.

I don't remember the other repeats being shown that way. At least they have acknowledged that this is a repeat.

Was just listening to BJ radio waiting for the announcement of this weeks show, and they had Hugh doing his song picks. He had some really great choices and it seems that the band has been doing a deep dive into the catalogue based on some of his comments. Thought his choices were interesting. Have listed them below with some of his commentary if anyone is interested.

NEXT 100 YEARS – Tico told him to check it out. Wants to play it live again.

ALL I WANT IS EVERYTHING – Was really impressed by the playing on this song. Misses playing it live.

THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME – Once of his favourite forgotten ballads.

I AM – Thinks this is a gem on HAND. Looks forward to playing it live again one day.

NOVOCAINE – Was a bitch to play in the studio and live. But loves the song.

IN THESE ARMS – KTF record is full of some of his favourite bass lines. This one is his fave from the album.

SOMETHING FOR THE PAIN – Played lots on the These Days tour and has since been forgotten. Hopes to bring it out live again as it is great to play.

BORN TO BE MY BABY – Fan and band favourite. Loves the bass in this song.

LIE TO ME – Holds a special place in his memory. Loves the intro and is one of those songs where Jon was able to pull amazing lyrics out of nowhere.

THICK AS THIEVES – Hugh’s wife's favourite BJ song. His wife feels that it best captures their relationship.

Some great choices there. Curious to see how the band would play those songs today.

This week is a show full of festive cheer apparently. No date given or if it is solo or band. Just said Holiday show. I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas and Blue Christmas in the promo. Any ideas?

Has the band Blue Christmas? I know Jon did in the late 90's for a fundraiser, am I forgetting something?

I suspect this will be an X-mas compilation, as on a closer l listen, I'm pretty sure I Wish Everyday is Boston 94. We shall see

Edit: Blue Christmas is definitely from the White House in 2000.

How many different X-Mas songs have they done over the years? Assuming we'll get some of the below:
I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas - Boston 1994
Blue Christmas - Washington 2000
Santa Clause Is Coming To Town/Run Run Rudolph - Vancouver 2007?
Please Come Home For Christmas - 1994
Happy X-Mas (War Is Over ) - Sydney 2013
Run, Run Rudolph - 1995/1996/2005/2010/2013
The Chanuka Song - Dave Vocal - Count Basie 1996

They also did Silent Night (Christmas Carol) and Little Drummer Boy in 1990. Some footage was shown on MTV. Would love to have a Soundboard of that:

I hope it's not just Christmas, I mean, they could include What A Wonderful World with Tico Torres on vocals, I love that version and it would be great to have it in better sound quality. Also a personal favourite, Its Only Make Believe, I don't care what year, I know they played it once in 1995, 1998, 2010 and 2013.
