Default Boston's later years

Anyone who knows just a tad bit of rock will have heard the song "More Than a Feeling", by none other than Boston (the band, not the symphony orchestra).

But since then they released quite a few other albums, and all of them are just amazing. I've never heard anyone talk about them much. Songs like the Walk On Medley from Walk On, Can'tcha Say (You Believe in Me) from Third Stage, and You Gave Up On Love from Corporate America, are unheard gems.

Just wondering if anyone else here shares my affinity for these underrated masterpieces?

I'm a huge Boston fan. Their first album was really their masterpiece but Third Stage is excellent too. Unfortunately these days when I think of Boston I think of Brad Delp's suicide rather than the happier times.

Boston rock.

Foreplay/Long Time is one of the greatest rock tracks ever. Feelin' Satisfied is a favorite too.

Their debut is definitely among my top 3 70s albums. A true masterpiece!

In their later albums the synthetic drum sound bothers me a bit but the songs are still great.
Brad Delps awesome vocals and fantastic vocal harmonies were/are what defines their sound the most probably.

It's sad they didn't get some more recognition.

The last thing I heard was that there's a new album in the making, don't know in which state this is at the moment though.

I was just listening to Boston last night while at work! That first album is definitely a must-own rock classic.

I have been planning to return to playing guitar and have been shopping for a new guitar and amp. I'm sure I'll also be grabbing the tabs for More Than A Feeling and Longtime/Foreplay. Such a great combination of crunchy chords and wailing.

Ah - back to the basics. A new guitar and amp is always cause for a celebration.
