It's absolutely as good a lineup as you could ask for at an all-metal festival. I'm interested, but not sure it's financially feasible. Easily passes the festival test of "is it cheaper than it would be to see all the bands-you-would-pay-money-for" individually.

In my case

Maiden (clearly) - £45
Rammstein - £40
Alice - £30
Placebo - £30
Pendulum - £20
Alice in Chains - £25
Skunk Anansie - £20
The Cult - £30
Europe - £17
Apocalyptica - £13
Anthrax - £20
Soulfly - £15
Therapy - £15
Terrorvision - £15
Rollins - £15
Tim Minchin - £20

£370 worth of live music i'd pay for, including Maiden (!) and a whole festival as well....

It really is a great bill.

I'm going, there are enough of my favourite bands to justify the price, and plenty of bands I've not seen that I'm interested in (not least Rammstein). Should be a cracking weekend!

I really really want to go, but I'm also almost definitely going to Download. So, thanks to the magic of having a full time job, this may be the first year that I go to two festivals ....

I went last year, it was wicked.

The way they have two 'main' stages is a stroke of genius. A band will finish on one, and literally 2 minutes later the next will start on the other stage at the opposite end of the field.
Virtually zero change-over times, no set clashes. Brilliant!

Well, I'm no longer going to Download, so hopefully will be going to Sonisphere!
