Default Embrace's new album

Picked this up at asda last night.

buy music from asda after midnight and you'll never get a bad album seriously. never failed me yet.

but i digress.

just had a quick listen and it's sounding pretty good man. lovely guitars on it. the 1st tune is such a blatant rip of of where the streets have no name that it demands respect

gravity is gorgeous. i cant wait till coldplays new album comes out if Chris Martin can manage to give tunes like this away to other bands.

there's a few more ones on the same level as gravity but I can't remember off the top of my head.

definetely one to check out if you dig embrace and coldplay or travis' stuff.

I've never heard of them. Are they a new band? I'll check it out on amazon so I can hear some clips.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Becky

They've been around for a few years now; they got noticed in 1997 for "All You Good Good People" which is brilliant.

I can't recall hearing a bad album from them, and as Jim said, their latest one is superb.

the fact the dude from coldplay wrote it would make it sound relatively coldplayish do you not concur?

Too right!

I love the new album, the opening track Ashes has got to be the song of the year.
