Well, things are starting to heat up down on E Street.

A lot of you have been hearing that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be on tour in 2012. That is absolutely correct. The European dates run from the middle of May until end of July and are being announced this week. Info on the US dates and the World tour dates will coming up shortly.

In addition, we want you to know that the music is almost done (but still untitled), we have almost settled on the release date (but not quite yet), and that we are all incredibly excited about everything that we're planning for 2012. That's all the info we have for right now, but we'll get back to you--real soon.

Superb news.

BBC website says he's headlining Hard Rock Calling and the Isle of Wight festival so any other UK dates will be around late June / early July :thu:

The dates so far are good for me and I woke up today with this news which was brilliant! I cannot wait to see Bruce and his band again. Only have 1 experience and he was sick then and I was in the far back of the stadium so I'm ready for a proper experience!

I salute you,
TS

Same, the UK dates announced so far clash with my uni graduation. Apparantly the European tour will go on until mid-July, so hopefully I can make one of those...would be gutted to miss this!

Saw this at 9:00 pm last night just as I got home from having dinner out. I thought it was a hoax at first I was so blown away. Paul and I were dancing around the room like lunatics.

I was afraid that Bruce was going to hang it up after Clarence died. So this is great news. I think he has at least one more big (good quality) tour in him and I am happy to buy tickets to it.
