how this started , older fans who went to 80s shows did the crowd did the same there?????

no idea but it`s really funny cause I watched some vcd`s today and wondered the same, and wonderd who had the idea for that drumm part, I mean it`s obviously copying ticos part but really the member who came up with that is genius

Only the Europeans and I think Japanese audiences do this. In America they don't. It was strange at Giants and Hartford when no-one exept of the Europeans clapped this way LOL.

Davefan is right, it's the rythm Tico plays at the intro.

With Captain Crash it was in fact Jon who started it during the Crush-tour and the audience still does it. This was not an idea of the audience.
