That is true. I don't think they'll be able to get away with similar sets playing two nights in a row there so here's hoping for some changes.

I'm really hoping that's where they mix it a bit and JBJ feels comfortable to add a few songs here and there to other set lists.

I don’t get this. Why wouldn’t they be able to get away playing two identical sets back to back ? 90% of most bands/artists do it, even Bon Jovi has done it multiple times (Remember both nights in NMS 2013 ? They changed one or two songs for night 2, but the main set was the same).

I’m not saying this is how it should be done, and I’m fully aware that Bon Jovi used to be the exception out there when it comes to setlists, but Jon is not capable of shaking things up anymore. He can barely sing the songs he is practicing more, let alone “new” ones.

So, if they play two identical setlists, what will happen ? People will demand their money back ?

Please understand I’m not trying to be rude, I just don’t agree with the “They won’t get away with a standard setlist/performance in XXX or XXX”. Of course they will. Nothing is going to happen if they do that.

Cheers

Eduardo

It's a lot more 'acceptable' let's say that they play two similar nights in America but over in Europe, it's always been fairly rare.

They can do whatever they want but a band like Bon Jovi usually mix it up.

Yep, but what does acceptable means ? What would happen if they played two identical sets ?

Riot.

Nothing, obviously. Just a lot of people commenting on it.

By acceptable, I'm saying that the band are known more for playing rarer stuff in Europe and mixing it up. I'm not saying they SHOULDN'T or CAN'T - It's just not what they've done in the past.
