In 2009 Jon was 47 so that's usually the time where people start to show signs of age...

Everyone's lips thin out as they get older. That's why the Hollywood stars plump theirs up with fillers thinking it makes them look younger. Thank goodness Jon hasn't done that!

It's too bad was so incredibly good looking that when he got older it apparently hit him harder. Thank goodness I don't have far to fall myself! Lol!!

Actually, there is ...

U2 added 2 extra shows in SP because the first date sold out in 3 hours. The extra gigs are also sold out. And the majority of the crowd are young people.

I hear U2 a lot more than Bon Jovi on the radio here in Brazil.

A lot of my friends listen to U2. I'm the only one who listens to Bon Jovi beyond Prayer and Always (and Missunderstood, which is huge here).

In school and college, a lot of people here associate Bon Jovi with being a homosexual and stuff. It does happen a LOT.

The degree to which a lot of fans care about Jon's looks is I think the reason why he (rightfully) believes he can still keep going and get away with how he sounds these days. Yuck.
