Pearl Jam’s new album is far better than I expected/hoped for.

Yeah I don’t mind it. Tails off at the end but is a decent effort.
Still not listened to NIN as I really have to be in the mood for them.

I find the two end songs to be among the best. I should have been seeing them twice in Amsterdam this month.

Never actually listened to NIN. Any recommendations?

The new Pearl Jam is probably my album of the year so far. Might be their best since the self-titled, haven't decided yet, I did like Lightning Bolt a lot too.

I'd highly recommend the new Stone Temple Pilots album as well.

Well if you wanted to dive right in then The Downward Spiral is one of the greatest albums ever, but it's not necessarily the easiest place to start. Maybe try the live album, And All That Could Have Been? The two new albums are completely instrumental, so definitely not the best place to start!

Yeah - pretty hate machine and downward spiral are excellent.
The fragile is good but long but has some great stuff on there.

Pearl jam - really liked backspacer of their latter albums. Has the excellent Force of Nature song on it.
