Default Someday I'll Be Saturday Night

Okay, I've been listening to this song quite a lot lately. However, I have noticed that since from 2003 onwards, the song has changed somewhat. Whenever the band extend the outro, Richie's guitar work sounds really different. It's lower and heavier it seems. It might be his signature guitar, but I don't know TBH.

Anyone else noticed this?

Not sure what you mean, but Richie plays it with a Telecaster, as usual. Don't think his used his signature guitar for this song. Thank God! Let the single-coils roll!

One of the best Jovi songs ever! And the original "I'm gonna live my life song" which once again proves us that the original, is the best

Listen to any live version of 'Saturday Night' from 2003-2008 and it seems on the extended outro the guitar seems a lot lower in the mix. E.g. Hyde Park 2003, Rock In Rio 2008 etc.

I agree though, truly spectacular song.

I change with this song. One minute i love it, the next i'm like, aww this is getting boring now.

It's a great song though but i do have an on-off relationship with this song

yh man! im so the same with some songs. jovis one being bad medicine in particular. i thought i was a weirdo for loving it one minute and the next thinking its the most annoying BJ song ALLIIIIVE. but i guess i'm not...maybe.

These Days is such an unbelievable album. i cannot honestly understand how much i love it. i have probs listened to it all the way thru a good 60 times in just the 5yrs tht ive owned it. it does NOT get boring. at all.

could i be a weirdo after all then?
