I don't know who wrote it but it is published by Joe Cocker. BJ sang it for example in Kiel as the opener of the acoustic part of the show.

Aloha !

Jon Hiatt wrote it and made it famous. It was a big hit everywhere. Joe Cocker only covers songs. He has never done an original track specially written for him as far as I know.
