The World Is Coming To An End... I Am Telling You, It Is...
I believe the world is coming to an end. Maybe this proves Bon Jovi is really a chick band (Not dissing the band at all), or maybe it proves that Bon Jovi can be played at anytime, anyplace. I was flipping through some channels on the boob tube tonight and I just saw something that caught my eye. I am not gay or anything but I turned on ESPN2 and started watching the College National Cheerleading Championship. So, Kentucky had won 8 straight National Titles, which is an amazing feat, but by the way they lost to UCO. Anyways, the last team to come up and perform started up with their music portion. It started off with some AC/DC and some other artists from the 80's and lower 90's... Then all of a sudden "We've gotta hold on, to what we've got..." and it keeps going from there! They played Livin' On A Prayer in the National Cheerleading Championship. My jaw dropped and I couldn't believe my ears. The tempo was much faster to fit the routine they were performing. At the end, I sat there and said to myself... "I hope they win"

I know how you feel Ryan. Since I've been at school, I've downloaded some Bon Jovi songs and videos which I've transferred home through Messenger. Anyway, today I sent the Mitsubishi commercial with Its My Life and told my brother (not a big Bon Jovi fan ) to watch it. These are his exact words:
it was because of that clip that i learned its my life after i heard that riff...it just got addictive, and i got the tab for the song once i get my electric back i wanna work on runaway...cause i saw that video too...and wanted naw...i wanna really learn to play it...i just got an idea...pat [my youngest brother] is getting an afro wig for halloween...maybe i can get a nice big hair wig, and pretend to be bon jovi [a la SNL dance tryouts] It took some time, but I converted him!
