Default What about the Yokohama DVD ??? Many projects but nothing!!!

Hi,

Do i forgot something or is this dvd will not be released????

I though it was announced for this fall (november???)

Did the band planned this dvd, flimed this concert with philharmonic for NOTHING????? (or for only 3 songs as bonus on DVD limited edition!!!)

If this dvd will not be released, i 'll really be dissapointed about this last change of attitude about US (the fans).

Now the band talk about a new DVD for promote TLFR what a joke!!!!!!

So is it really a gift for the fans to hear always the same songs again and again????

TLFR is just a commercial intention to sell more than Bounce and to finally to sell the famous 100 millions albums!!!!

Now about the box set, i'll be very suspicious because i don't really think it will be released.....

So please, stop to make promises and finalize your projects for the fans only once!!!!

A disapointed fan!

The recordings of Yokohama didn't turn out well because Jon was sick that day. That's why they decided not to release it.

Aloha !

They did plan to release it. During the European tour they went into the studio in Amsterdam to do overdubs since they weren't happy with the result. After they completed some tracks they felt like they were cheating and decided not to release it.

Salaam Aleikum,

Well, I wouldn't call something that for sure costs a lot of money a "gift" LOL.

Now that I think about it... I would much rather prefer getting the new, reworked songs rather than Yokohama. For one reason, I already have the Yokohama bootleg with all 31 or 32 songs, and the stuff that they would have cut out is pretty entertaining stuff Secondly, I have heard about a million live versions of several songs, namely Wanted and Prayer. At this point in their careers, they can play any song acoustic without even rehearsing. But to break a song down to its core and revamp it, it takes effort and I appreciate the effort.

And we even get to hear a few Yokohama tracks on the Japanese version of TLFR.

So, wait and see for this famous Box set, it will only be realsed if they sold 100 millions albums!!!!!

That's the reason why the band decided to realesed a new Crossroad (full of their N°1 hits) than an real acoustic album because they are sure to sell many more with a "greatest hits ...new twist".

And Jon is saying that's a LIVE band???? (so why didn't they give to their real fans a REAL GIFT as a FULL concert on DVD or a REAL LIVE album ????)

For me, the band has just comercial intentions and they don't really think of their fans!

We have waited since many years for a live album and they gave a "One wild night 85 2001 Live compilation" is that a gift???

Since the Crush tour, the band made the "one wild night tour" with very fantastic dates (Giants stadium for example) and the promote "the bounce tour" but as fan have you had a gift from the band about those 2 last tour?????
No DVD, very few live tracks as Bsides on singles from Bounce album, so it this band giving live gifts to their fans???

be sure, the Box set will only contain studio tracks...

I admit that i'm desapointed, cause for me the band didn't give a real image of a live band.

Of course i'm waiting for TLFR (or "Refreshin' Crossroad") but i'm angry about their attitude (or records company) to not finalized their project, so now, i will stop to believe their wrongs promises!

Now, wait and see....
