No the snippets was a bad idea, but it sure cured some of my curiosity.

I haven't heard the snippets of BJ.com but I can't imaging that the songs are very much better. I mean the style of the songs for sure doesn't change when you hear them in a little better quality.

THERE'S A BIG DIFFERENCE AND FINALLY THEY SOUND GOOD!!!!!
Wow i like almost every song but the only thing i complain is that these versions have lost all the rock vibe they had...i know they'd have been difference but they had just slow down every song apart WANTED and this is not great for me...i miss some electric guitar.......

WANTED : i really like it even if the original it's better...i don't feel any connection with kid rock or something like that..it just rock!
LIVIN : bad bad bad. it's almost like the last slow version they did but the female singer really destroy this song
BAD MEDICINE : i like this one but i think it lost too much from the original....
IT'S MY LIFE : i think this one is simply great it really works in this balladesque way and jon give me great emotion vocally
LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME: like bad medicine i like ti but it lost the vibe
BAD NAME : bleach i really think this one sucks...even jon who sing extremely bad for me
BED OF ROSES : this song is great and so in whatever manner you play this one it will be great...the original it's better
EVERYDAY: one of the best.. it has became a great ballad and i love it
BORN TO BE MY BABY : mmm there's no comparison between the best bon jovi song ever (this one) and this version i don 't like it very much insted of this they should have put the acoustic one they did back in the '80s

Sound quality makes a HUGE difference.

I have not listened to the snippets on either site. But I learned that lesson a long time ago when I got These Days. I listened to the first half of it on my mom's truck's stereo which had terrible sound and I didn't like it at all. I listened to the 2nd half of it on my own CD player with great sound and it make such a striking difference, especially when I played the first songs again on a good system. When you have a good system you can hear the vocals and instruments so much more clearly and distinctly.

But the style of the music doesn't change. I mean, slow songs stay slow songs. Exept of the first snippets were run in half speed or something which I don't believe.

yeah, I think havin the bad snippest first was good. I gave me a general idea of what I thought(it wasn't gd!lol) but now i can hear everthing thats going on and have had a few listens I'm really looking forward to it
