We should take a step back and realize that all is good in "joviland" right now. We are getting:

A new album + Bonus DVD + live tracks
A new DVD
and a several disk box set

only after one year of releasing bounce. I think we should consider ourselves lucky that we even have material to talk about.

aaHAA we have a believer! Like iv said beofre, the band could have , SO easily, gone into hibernation again like they did between Thesedays and Crush and leave the fans in limbo .. but they havnt! They'r not sitting back with the own personal gold mines and throwing a record out every now and again (Rolling stones anyone?) but they are still delivering! this new stuff is what its supposed to be for me, a nice little treat, something extra.. : all my fav songs reworked! its like Christmas over here
Lighten up everyone and keep the faith! Many bands have done this type of thing.. sum ppl here hav alredy pointed out quite rightly how U2 had their whole 'weird' thing, REM hav done it with ''Up'' , Radiohead are doing it.. everyone one wants something different once in a while! this is like a side project the guys have done, only this time their releasing it and letting us in on what they'b created. Oh, and yes , the new Lay ur hands DOES sound like sumthing out of the Lion king...

keep the faith

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

I don't find anything to complain about. I've liked what I've heard so far. I'm happy they're releasing another CD rather than taking a really long hiatus. I don't know, maybe it's because I was there from 88-92 and 95-00 when there was no band product. I'd rather have these reworked hits that Jon and Richie are so excited about when they speak about them than nothing from the band at all. Maybe I'll like the new CD. I'm not stuck on rock and roll. If it's good music, I'll appreciate it. If it's not, I've got other CDs and there are countless other people I can listen to.

Actually i'm starting to have fun here with the new songs... i'm hopping on my chair while hearing bad name.. i'm smiling when hearing prayer..

True that they could do nothing instead of releasing TLFR.. but still i would have liked it if they devoted a bit more of their time into the record... 'cause they made it fast don't you think? less than a month..
