Hollywood News > The songs that should have made it to the top but didn't:

London, Aug 14 (ANI):

A survey by the music channel VH1, has revealed that music lovers think that the Robbie Williams song "Angles" was the most deserving song that should have made it to the number one spot on the charts, but didn't, because other songs beat them to it.

According to the Daily Mail, the other famous songs which should've made it to the top included Madonna's "Ray of Light," Queen's hit "Radio Ga Ga" and Guns 'N' Rose's rock anthem "Sweet Child of Mine."

The top ten songs, which missed making it to number one, are:

1. Robbie Williams - Angels 2. Savage Garden - Truly, Madly, Deeply 3. Aerosmith - I Don't Want To Miss A Thing 4. Ultravox - Vienna 5. Madonna - Ray of Light 6. Bon Jovi - Livin' on a Prayer 7. Oasis - Wonderwall 8. Queen - Radio Ga Ga 9. Michael Jackson - Thriller 10. Bon Jovi - Always

Celebrities help draw crowd to Portland to see Kerry
Staff, news services
August 14, 2004

Most of the more than 40,000 people who flocked to Portland’s riverfront Friday might have come to see Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry.

But at least some braved the crowd and high temperatures to see the celebrities, who included rock star Jon Bon Jovi and movie actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

Ashley Cady, 17, of Beaverton said that the decision to go to see Kerry instead of Bush was easy.

“This will be more fun,” she said, admitting that she had seen “Titanic,” starring DiCaprio, four times.

SAMBORA CREDITS LOCKLEAR FOR CALMER LIFESTYLE

BON JOVI star RICHIE SAMBORA credits his actress wife HEATHER LOCKLEAR with giving him a new calm lifestyle.

The rocker has been married to former MELROSE PLACE star Locklear for almost 10 years and has found that his hellraising antics are now deeply buried in the past.

He says, "I lived a pretty wild rock-style life 'till I fell in love. My wife is the most beautiful woman in the world!"
