I tried but couldn't. You had to download special software from Carnegie Mellon Univ and no matter what I did I couldn't find the URL for ripping. Trying to capture it with screen capture software didn't work either. I kept geetting a "try a different compressor" error.
If someone else managed to get it, please share.

Kathleen

Question:
Hello Oompas ... I was just watching on my computer The John Kerry Pittsburg Rally.... I was so happy to hear Jon supporting Senator Kerry Live ...he sang Prayer acousctic and anorther song he said it learned it while travelling to Pittsburg and he said it was from another Jersey guy ... but I don't know this song ... can you tell me what song it was and from who it is? Thank you !! )) It's so cool to be that close to you all through the internet ....

Answer:
NEVER SURRENDER, a Bruce Springsteen song that has been John Kerry's rally song at every appearance.

Is this what you are talking about?
And I suppose it is NO SURRENDER the Oompas are referring to, isn't it?
If so, I would love to have an audio of that!

Actually it was recorded by Canadian Corey Hart back in his eighties hey day--seems as though it's a rather common sentiment and may have been used on various occasions--the only one I am aware of however is Corey Hart's version and I am quite certain that it was NOT on the Transformers the Movie soundtrack.

Cheers peoplez,
