Default Bon Jovi - Tribute bands?

Has anyone ever been to a show from a BJ coverband??
I'm going to one next week and was wondering how people experience these kind of gigs

How are the bands you know?

Blaze Of Glory! The only Bon Jovi tribute I've seen. They are ok, its always a good night out.

But after seeing the real thing, tributes sometimes seem pretty crappy.

As mentioned in a post a short while ago, yeah im going to see By Jovi this saturday for like the 8th time! they do rock, and honestly if they played a stadium show and you coodnt see them close up the only real way you could tell them apart from the real thing is that the byjovi singer has a better voice! even does all the screaming at the endof runaway

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

HAVE SEEN BLAZE OF GLORY AND THEY WERE'NT VERY GOOD AT ALL, ALMOST EMBARRASSING.
ALSO SAW BON GIOVI WHO ARE VERY GOOD MUSICALLY AND VOCALLY IF NOT LOOKS WISE. DEFINITELY WORTH GOING TO SEE THEM IF YOU GET A CHANCE.

ANOTHER GOOD TRIBUTE BAND IS BAD OBSESSION WHO ARE A GUNS N ROSES TRIBUTE.

KEEP ON TRUCKIN'

The band I'm seeing is called Crossroads (German).
It's a kind of small indoor festival with coverbands for Kiss, Guns 'n Roses and Bon Jovi.

I went to Kon Chauvi (I think?) last year... it's ok; it's nothing but the real thing obviously, but you know the words to most songs anyway and if you're in a good mood singing along for a night can be fun

I saw Underwear in Tampere in July. They were great and the crowd was enjoying it like it was the real thing.

Bad Medicine out of Melbourne. Pretty good, but they are getting bigger, about to do their first interstate gigs that I know of. George is so close to looking and acting like Jon it's almost scary.
