I know a handful of people who either know Liam pretty well or have met him several times and what he's like in front of a camera and off is completely different.

I've never heard a bon jovi comment but if he did make it. I'm pretty certain he was just acting it as per usual.

Aloha !

Liam has never said anything about Bon Jovi, but Noel was asked if Oasis could be the support act during a leg of the These Days tour. Noel refused, and when he was asked what he thought about Bon Jovi, his answer was something like "Jon's a nice guy but his band is shite" which is just his opinion.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Fair enough, everyone's entitled to their opinion. I couldn't imagine Noel/Liam saying that any band, except The Beatles (and possibly U2 after handing them one of those big awards at the Brits or something), are good.

Liam DID comment on Bj a few years ago. He was giving an interview when their last album was coming out, and the interviewer was asking him about how long they'll keep going etc. Liam replied that they keep releasing brilliant albums (his words!) and are not gonna just keep releasing albums just for the sake of it even if they are crap. He then said "we're not Bon Jovi"!.

As for U2, the 2 bands are indeed friends. U2 were presented with an award a few years ago at the Q magazine music awards. Noel presented it to them. That months edition of the mag contained a joint interview with both bands were they were telling everyone how much they respected/liked each other! They also told the story of when they were all drunk in the back of a limo driving through new york singing wonderwall!

I don't think it would worry bon jovi too much anyways.

Oasis just get worse and worse live as the years go by.

1st time I seen them, brilliant. second time, better than 90% of the stuff Ive seen even when they were playign lacklustre and anytime after that it's just got worse and worse to the point wherre they dont even look as if they want to be wasting their time onstage.
