Default Today Show & Borgata

BON JOVI NEWS
(Tuesday, October 19, 2004)

BON JOVI are confirmed to appear on THE TODAY SHOW on Tuesday, NOVEMBER 23rd, 2004 as part of the Thanksgiving Week concerts. More details on the band's appearance in the weeks to come.

BORGATA news is coming. As CLEARLY outlined in the news item yesterday, information would be announced today with details of the event however ticketing information would not be included (that would be provided next week.) Now, HOW that became free license for a handful of fans to take it upon themselve to begin contacting the Borgata on their own for information they want when they want it, is beyond our comprehension. Thank you for undermining the very detailed work being done to organize such an event. Thank you for undermining the efforts of those attempting to make such an event a reality and to those attempting to provide you with proper information in a timely manner as detailed information becomes available without interfering with the carefully organized efforts behind-the-scenes. The demand for information when some people want it and feel they are entitled to it has once again undermined behind-the-scenes efforts.

There are no songs, they promised!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And what is the deal with the second part of the news item. They are really mad at some people. But it seems to me VERY UNPROFESSIONAL to put that in a news item on the official site of a very famous artist. Or is it supposed to be "funny", like the people of BJ Q&A always attempt to be "funny".

Headquarters seems to be having a lot of trouble with the fans right now. There's too much anticipation and people are insisting on information.
Just go to Q&A: the Oompas seem to be incredibly frustrated with all the impatient fans.

Yes, it seems.

I think their reaction is a little childish. They could expect some fans will go after that sort of info.

The people from Bon Jovi like to tease their fans, but when you tease, you can expect that people are going to contact the venues bij themselves. Most of the time, the fans already know about certain concerts before BJ announce it officially. I do agree with them that fans should be a bit more patient, but they are already teasing for a few weeks (even months) now... they'd better be quiet and say something when there is information to share. It would increase the rumour factor

I'm sure they'd be incredibly disappointed if people left them alone and they got no feedback. What do they expect?
