Default Bonjovi On Howard Stern Now!!!!

I just got back from the car, listening to the Howard Stern channel and hear Bon Jovi singing the Beatles HELP, but as a slow melancholic version. It was stunning. I just don't know if it was live or not. I'd love to hear it again. Did anyone else hear it?

Ya I heard it. Howard just asked them to play something off the new album and all he had was bobby and jeff with him. Needless to say with those idiots he had to play Who Says which wasn't too good.

thanks for the heads up!!

I loved 'help' and wish Jon would put as much emotions into all of his songs.

He is travelling with a voodoo dude these days?

And where exactly did I say that I expected him to play Have a Nice Day.

Nowhere, that's why I asked. However, which song would have worked on acoustic guitar from the latest album? If they'd played Welcome, reactions would've been the same.

Salaam Aleikum,

Well, knowing that he had the 3 people from the Charity event in Jersey with him (2 of which are Jeff and Bobby) I wouldn't have played anything off the new album. They played 2 beatles songs and that should have been it. That was apparently Jon's intention as well because he was caught off guard when Howard asked him to play something from the new album as well. Granted it was a tough situation for Jon to say 'no' to, but he could have talked his way out of it.

Now, with that said, I think if Jon was planning on performing on Howard's show he should have brought the band and performed something off the new album and told Howard (prior to agreeing to do the show) that now is not the time for playing cover songs. Even Who Says would have been fine if the band was there. You can't possible tell me that Bobby and Jeff can carry that song though. I heard it for myself, it was pretty bad.

huh? the only reason Jon was on the show was to perform Beatles cover songs. It was NOT to promote the album. Howard didn't even know there was an album out. The only reason Howard asked Jon to be on the show was to play those Beatles songs.

I had to go to work before the interview was over, so I don't know how he got suckered into performing a BJ song.

You think the only reason Jon went on Howard a day after the new album's release was to play 2 beatles songs. Give me a break.
