Question Sambora Version Of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"?

Hey There

I was recently told there is a Sambora version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" out there in cyberspace. I was never aware Richie recorded and/or performed this classic song.

Does anyone know anything about this or at least point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

hey
its from a guitarist called Chris Impelliteri on his Stand in Line album in '88
He was also in the band Impelliteri.

it has been labelled loads of different guitarists.
Satriani,Steve, Vai, Richie, Yngwie Malmsteen to name a few.

it is still a great instrumental. i couldn't believe it when i got one saying it was richie. i know richie is amazing but i have no idea if could play that technical kind of stuff.

i agree with you there for the use of harmonics etc but i mean in somewhere over teh rainbow the use of sweep picking and the speed towards the end is amazing.

do you have a complete one or does it end suddenly?
i remember i got one with it saying it was richie and it wasn't the whole song but then i found one saying it was yngwie malmsteen and it was about 1:30 longer.
