Default Second half KTF vs. Second half TD

The second halfs of these two albums don't seem to be very popular recently, what with people such as Krycek (among others) comlaining about the second half of Keep The Faith, and Seb and Goose (again among others) complaining about the second half of These Days. The Kerrang! article I posted recently states the second half of These Days as being the worst thing the band has ever recorded. So I'm wondering where everyone stands on this whole issue? Which one has more going for it in general, the second half of KTF or the second half of TD?

Note: This ONLY includes the following songs:

KTF: Dry County, Woman In Love, Fear, I Want You, Blame It On The Love Of Rock N' Roll, Little Bit Of Soul

TD: My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms, (It's Hard) Letting You Go, Heart's Breaking Even, Something To Believe In, If That's What It Takes, Diamond Ring

It does NOT take into account Save A Prayer, Bitter Wine, Starting All Over Again, or anything else like that

I like the second half of These Days better. Keep the Faith is an awesome album too but, there are 2 songs that I tend to skip once in a while in the 2nd half. Meanwhile, I don't skip ANY song on These Days.

I agree, KTF dos have a few songs like woman in love / blame / i want u that wouldn't be skipable tracks, however not too as good as the songs on TD. These days was my first jovi cd, actually first cd. i remember lettin u go seeming weak initially, but is now one of those songs i wud love to hear live. the solo of STBI hit me as being something totally different to jovi, i'd only heard stuff from crossroads at this stage. i think initially i was diasppointed with the album, expecting another bad name / prayer. Solid album where as faith goes off after dry county up 2 little bit of soul. love save a prayer though.

I have the same feeling on both 2. Just from tracks 8 instead of 7 because dry county & as my guitar... are both still on the good side. I geuss 2nd half songs on TD are the better ones in quality but i like listening to the 2nd half of faith more.
come to hand, it's one of the few from where i like the 2nd half better than the first

I voted TD. I can't find one weak track in it and some of those songs (It's Hard Letting You Go and If That's What It Takes) are among my absolute favourites.

Not that I especially dislike the second half of KTF either though.

KEEP THE FAITH:

Dry County - 10
Woman In Love - 7
Fear - 9
I Want You - 8
Blame It...Roll - 8
Little Bit of Soul - 10

Total = 52

THESE DAYS:

My Guitar.......Arms - 10
It's Hard Letting You Go - 9
Hearts Breaking Even - 10
Something To Believe In - 10
If That's What It Takes - 10
Diamond Ring - 9

Total = 58

Easily These Days is the better album, and it also a far stronger second half.
