Default "Bon Jovis Final Concert"

Hi.
Last night i sat in bed and thought.. "If Bon Jovi was having a final world tour, and i had front row tickets.. What would i like to hear?". Well firstly, anything audible would be nice, since i've never been to a Bon Jovi Concert.

I then thought.. You gotta have a LOT of hard rock, and then you gotta have some slow sad songs as well. It needs to have a lot of contrast and emotion to the crowd. It also needs all the best hits.. Since it's the last set of concerts for BJ.

1. Start with You give love a bad name, having a similiar start to that of the music video; including fireworks
2. The oh-so-common "Are you with me!?"
3. Contrast the drum rolling between songs into "Its my Life"
4. Song stops, a small speech to say hi to the world and to the crowd, since the live concert will be on TV.

-- I don't know what happens from then on.. but some nice songs to hear
a; Always
b; Bad Medicine
c; Livin on a Prayer
d; Have a Nice Day
e; Wanted Dead or Alive
f; Its Hard Letting you Go
g; Unchained Melody (cover)
h; A speech

The concert could then finish with "My Guitar Lies Bleeding in my Arms", with a strike of fireworks on the final chorus (at an appropriate moment).. The fireworks should be like waterfall style.. This ends the concert.

Please, post your idea on a "Bon Jovi Final Concert"

Regards
Rhys Andrew

yup. at the time i wrote it the first song that sprung to mind was TAALS but thinking on it has to be prayer. wanted would either have to come just before prayer or end the main set.

Do you think they'd announce that it was their last concert before or after it? Cos if they did it before, there'd be a LOT of hysterical Backstagers (Even More hysterical than they are normally!)

Hi

i dont think they will ever know a concert is gonna be there last one, just like they would never think an album is there last one

as they have said before the band is beyond breaking up so i can see them still doing shows when jons 60!

it would be mad tho if they did announce a last show, how mad would that show be!lol

Several of you have posted that This Ain't a Love Song should be played. I agree. Why won't the band play this song anymore?

Is it the norm for bands to just organise "last ever" gigs?
