Default Bon Jovi Demos

Right, I think we all know about the "Borderline" demo, superb studio quality demo recording from slippery when wet which every jovi fan must hear? Can anyone recommend any others. I came across this one called 'Starting All Over Again' from Keep The Faith and its a fantastic song! Reminds me of Waynes World/Bill & Ted films, one of them up tempo catchy rockers. Keep The Faith is my favourite album so it's very nice to hear something like this..

I also got a few other demos, one called 'Love Hurts' which is again studio quality apparently from New Jersey sessions. Seems to have Richie on lead vocals and Jon Bon on backing to me =/ unless it's actually a sambora solo track or something. Anyway I got another demo called Love Hurts which is totally different, sounds like a def leppard style hard rock ballad, bit rough sound quality on this one though...

anyone recommend any other demos for me to get from the older albums?

Starting All Over Again is on the Box Set too, though it's not the same version.

First, buy the boxset as i gather you dont have it by the fact that you didnt know Starting All over again was on it.

Secondly, alot of other 'rare' stuff is available out there, alot of it on file sharing networks like kazza/limewire. Or you can be a mug and buy them on ebay, there actually some decent collections on there for a few quid.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

I do already have the 100,000,000 fans boxset if thats the one you mean?

I don't remember hearing this song on it though.. perhaps I missed it...

Edge of a broken heart is on that aswell..., aswell as Richie Sambora's excellent ballad "If I Cant Have Your Love"

I'm after some other stuff, rare ones, I saw a CD full of new jersey demos/per-recording stuff from the album which interested me but Im sure I could download most of it. I'm mostly after the studio quality stuff at the moment 'cause theres some stuff that you think to yourself when you're listening 'how did this not make the album?'

anyone shed any light on what this love hurts demo is..? It's studio quality recording, crystal clear and it sounds as though sambora is doing lead vocals and jbj is on backing. Although it says on the filename its a jon bon jovi solo effort but still off the new jersey demos. I dunno, but it definately sounds like sambora doing lead vocals in it, the music is kinda like a soft bassline, with echoey lead guitar work, the lead vocals are a bit echoey aswell, some nice harmonies on it aswell.

You find all demos that are avaiable either on official CDs or on bootlegs on the lyrics page of this side. There are too many to mention them here.

If it's a rock song, it's a Bon Jovi demo with Jon singing. If it's a ballad, it's a Nazareth version of a song called Love Hurts. It's mislabled by some jerk and gullible people believed it.

Nazareth? heard of them but not heard a great deal by them.. what kinda music are they.

The soft ballad one is about 4.20 long and it almost sounds as if it has smabora doing lead vocal work. Some prominent synth work in it.. I think the lyrics that start are "Love hurts, love scars, love wounds, it harms, any heart, not tough, or strong, enough... to take a lot of pain, take a lot of pain, love is like a cloud, holds a lot of rain.. love hurts.. oo oo love hurts"

I just looked up on it, its a Nazareth song but its a cover version and I'm trying to find out who its by.. Nazareth's original version of Love Hurts is more of a 70s style..

edit again - its by a guy called 'Corey Hart'..

http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=2095&

apparently the song was oriignally recorded by the Everly brothers but its one of those songs that has been covered loads...
