What are some of the ideas behind the song "Bed of Roses". Any thoughts please reply! (ex. the lyrics of the song mean what?) I just need some source of basis on what you think he is talking about!!!!! Thanks a million.

Isn't it about a bed full with roses and another one full of nails and Jon has a hard time deciding on which one to sleep. That's how I understood this song.

i agree, i never saw the mistress jon talks about in the song to be another woman, i always thought he was talking about life on the road. i think bed of roses and wild is the wind are talking about the same thing
