I'm not sure if any of you on here is familiar with the fansite BonJovi.com. Several years ago they used to have a chatroom , and before it was shut down I met some of the most wonderful people in my life. It's funny how people you've never really met , but talk to online touch your life , almost become part of your family. Back then though I was first getting use to all the " internet business " and was very shy about giving out personal information. So I never gave out my email. When the chat suddenly closed. I lost contact with so many great friends. Friends that have stayed with me in my heart , even though the room long since shut down. And I'm really kicking myself for not giving them my email. I can't change the past , but I sure can try to change the future. So I'm hoping when the chat closed some of the old chatters and my friends came here to DryCounty. My chatroom name then was " Star " and I'm from West Virginia... If any of you see this and remember me , I can't tell you how much I miss you and think about you. The only one I remember from that BJ board was sohosid. He did post here for a short while but I haven't seen him here for ages. I never really posted there - I lurked there and posted here.

there was a chatroom too. i used it many a moon ago and if i remember rightly there was even a bit of an 'underground' one running on the same server after bj.com closed it.

Same here.....sohosid still posts there from time to time....seen his name not long ago on a post.

I was on the old BJ.com board before it shut down.... I think I was on there as Dawn, to be honest I cant remember what name I used . I do remember sohosid and the only other thing I recall is Mary Beth !!! Anyway , when it shut down I found my way here to the old DC board.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that took the time and read and answered my post. I'm not having too much luck though.. I'm starting to think that finding them again is going to be like trying to find " a needle in a haystack. And yeah I sure do remember Mary Beth aka MCDLancer. Although I'm afraid it's not too fondly. From what I've seen and heard she's over on the Backstage boards ready to jump down the throats of any person that posts something she doesn't approve of. It's sad I don't understand why they let her treat the other fans that way
