I was reading the liner notes on One Wild Night the other day and noticed that the person who wrote the little description of the band inside the album mentions that Jon hired him to write a book account of the band and thier history. Anyone know if this book was ever released, what it's called and if it's worth buying/reading (like does it have any info that a fan wouldn't already know?)

No official autobiography has been realeased.
There are many unofficial ones about Jon out there, some of them are good.

I don't think he meant Jon asked him to write a book. If you re-read it I'm sure it only says Jon asked him to write that segment in the liner notes of the album.
