Default Bon Jovi Fudge Ups

OK so people who are in a band know what it's like when things go wrong on stage and you look daft.

Was just curious as to what things people have seen jovi do? I'll start with a few:

Melbourne, Australia, show number 1 of OWN tour: Richie snapped a string at the end of his solo in Born To Be My Baby, had to swap guitars, missed all of the pre-chorus (vocals and guitar)

Giants Stadium, New Jersey, Final night of OWN tour: Richie had to swap guitars right at the end of Bad Medicine just to play the final chord, but why?

Giants Stadium, Penultmiate night of OWN tour: Wild in the streets, first chorus, Dave hits a 'B' in the keyboard riff instead of 'A'

Tokyo, Japan, 2002 Bounce promo gig: Most of the gig lol......Jon messed up the intro to Undivided, blamed it on 'not being able to hear those keyboards right there'......Richie hitting wrong chords at the end of Keep The Faith.....Jon and Dave not knowing what was going on at the start of Joey.....

Giants, Final HAND night: Richie comes in a beat too early at the very start of Undivided, couldn't hear Tico's sticks properly (you know, '1 2 3 4')

Philadelphia, HAND tour: Richie misses half the Wanted solo after failing to swap his acoustic for his electric properly

Yokohama, Japan 1996: Dave doesn't give Richie enough time to swap guitars after Lay Your Hands On Me, starts Bad Medicine too early

Milton Keynes No. 2 HAND: Tico messes the beat up near the end of Captain Crash

Raise your Hands on the single of Who Says: Very very start you can hear Ticos Hi-Hat, it's so out of time with Richie, why would they choose to put this particular version on?

Can't think of anymore for now, anybody know of anymore?

Just wondered what peoples thoughts were? It may sound strange but having been in a band, I kind of enjoy watching Jovi mess up, not to laugh or anything but because you realise that just because they're a big band, they still dont play every gig perfectly. Also its good to see how they deal with the situation.

One last thing, I'm not having a go by any means at them messing up so please dont reply with 'So what you saying, Bon Jovi are crap?? or 'So what if they mess up, nobody's perfect' ' LOL no i'm not, just curious......

yeah ive always wondered why on earth they put on that version of raise your hands on the CD, the mistake is glaringly obvious - Tico is SO out of time.

At Dublin during the Bounce tour, Richie was doing his alternative bluesy intro thing to Prayer centre stage, then tico hit the symbol the usual three times to signify the drums coming in and Talkbox riff starting... the thing being that Richie was still centre stage and so resulted in him diving/falling/stumbling back over to his mike on the left side of the stage to attempt to flick the talkbox mike up and start the riff all in one motion. End result was he missed the first few bars and had to do the whole first verse bent backwards as the Mic has only flipped up halfway before Lumpy came out and sorted it - he looked like a twat!

Am surprised he hasnt missed the solo for Wanted more often lately, you see him struggling abit getting the double neck off this tour with his sore shoulder, and theres the all important taking off of the hat motion that he has to master.

Talkbox didnt work AT ALL during Milton keyenes night one this tour for Its my Life, Jon wasnt too impressed. Lumpy was working at it all throught the song, thing being that not too many people in the crowd seemed to notice :s

i have heard of a few classics though when things happen like Jon doing '2,3,4!' and half the band doing, say, Born to be my baby, and the other half Just older. That'd be fun to see!

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

I liked the one from the begining of Captain Crash from the Cina Club show in 2000 and Jon stops them playing and has they have a laugh about it.

I noticed a couple on recent bootlegs though, I think on the Giants night 1 show there's something very wrong with the start of Bounce, not sure what Richie was doing there, and on one of the other nights Dave messes up during You Give Love A Bad Name I think it was, quite noticeable.

I can't remember exactly, but something happened in MK when Tico was playing a different song to everyone else, and Jon wasn't happy at all, he shouted "what the fvck is going on". Or was it Coventry? On this tour anyway. Can anyone remember exactly what happened?

Yea that was Coventry!

Jon counted the band in for Born to Be My Baby after the outro to the last song and not all the band members were ready to start, basically i Tico started at the right time but as most of the other members came in a bar after him, Richie and the gang were expecting Tico to play an extra bar of drumming, to mean they had played the whole intro as a band...but Tico didnt...and thats when u had Richie goin back into the Na Na Na Naa bit when the verse had began...and Jon shouted 'What the fuk was that' whilst facing towards Tico and David...

after that i was thinkin of shit will this have Jon in a shit mood for the rest of the gig...but it didnt seem to effect him lookily... nd the show was great .... only Uk show, probs the only European show actually to get Treat Her Right... which i really enjoyed

Talkin about MK what about Richie's talk box packing in during Its My Life altho Richie pulled it off well without, i thought he did well...Jon made it worse tho after a roadie had fumbled around without it Jon thought it was mended so he pointed at Richie to give it another go during the 2nd verse...so he tried it and missed a ''woahh woahhh' because of it which didnt sound too great... Richie should av just said no and carried on playin safe...

It might just be me, but on the Crush DVD, it sounds like Richie sings the wrong line after the second verse of I'll Sleep When I'm Dead - the guy all have big grins on their faces after it. Maybe I'm just hearing it wrong though...
