Again i like both types it all depends on my mood, at the mo i'm listening to rock ballads, Bed Of Roses is such a class song, so is Its Hard Letting You Go but the more rockier songs are just as good too like Hey God thats always good belting it out full blast to anoy the neighbours!

Most of the time I prefer rock songs that make me feel good such as KTF, Dry County, Wanted, GGDAWW, Hey God, etc. On the odd occasion though you can't beat a good ballad such as Bed of Roses, Livin' In Sin, TAALS, etc. There are also times when I like mid tempo chill out songs such as Little Bit of Soul, Save a Prayer or Love For Sale.

I think a better discussion would be what album you like best and why, and for me it would be keep the faith because it has it all in my opinion. Although we have had loads of treads like that.

I like a variety. Overly predictable or repetitive lyrics (Complicated, Flesh & Bone) or sugary sweet lyrics (Thank You for Loving Me, All About Loving You) can ruin a song for me. Sometimes Jon's vocals and the music can make up for the lyrics (Lay Your Hands on Me). I like a wide variety of musical styles, so I can't say I like "rock songs" or "mid-tempo songs" or "ballads" best. Each song is judged on it's own and it takes the whole package of vocals, lyrics, and music to make a song great IMO.

Like other have said, I like both ballads and rock songs, it just depends on my mood. Lyrics are what is important to me so even though a song may rock, like Unbreakable, the lyrics are weak so therefore, the song doesn't grab me.

I like both the rockers and the ballads pretty equally. I mean I absolutely love the heartwrenching ballads that have all the great amazingly deep lyrics but I also love the rock songs, whether they are the heavier songs or the fun make ya dance kind of songs. Basically Bon Jovi has songs that are perfect for every emotion I am feeling at any given time: happy, sad, heartbroken, in love, etc.. I honestly can't say I like one kind better than the other. If it's a Bon Jovi song for the most part I probably dig it (with a few exceptions of course )

i like the uptempo/rock songs most, i think that those are what they are strongest at.
