Sounds right. Bounce was tweaked after 9/11, I know that.

Eh. It depends if the question is "What songs came from 9/11" or Which songs were simply written in that month. Bounce, Lucky, Misunderstood and Breathe were all pre September 11th. Makes you wonder what the album would have sounded like had 9/11 not happened.

I don't know when or where the songs were written.
I just took a wild guess because I've always seen "Breath" as a song about comforting someone you love somehow.
So there.
How do you know which songs came from 9/11 (besides undivided and everyday that is)

Press, mostly. I mean the lyrics of "Another reason to believe" are just so direct, I'm sad it didn't make the album. That part about fire fallng from the sky, I love it. Jon said Bounce was pre 9/11 but they worked on it to sort of reflect on the topic I think it was.

Yeah, I always got the feeling tha tBounce was one of the first songs written for the album, it has that kinda "It's my life built for a video game" feel to it that they would be aiming for to capitalize on some success.

I think the Distance was written after aswell, Since Richie said he had the image of a soldier sent off to war when they were writting it.
