Use the search function. This has been asked many, many times.

Living in Sin was considered too sexy at the time. The mixed images of religion and sex were scandalous. Oh, and Cher, who was running around in a video with her ass hanging out of her outfit made of two leather straps somehow got blamed for it. HER videos were too provocative; she was dating Richie; therefore she had to be a bad influence.

Yeah, it was kind of strange. A couple of years later MTV was okay with airing that video for Baby Got Back which was far more sexual than Living in Sin. And it was okay for Jeremy to blow his head off in class. MTV got really lenient with their censors.

Yes, it's the same version as the one on New Jersey: The Videos if I'm not mistaken.

And All About Lovin' You wasn't cencored as such for Germany, it was edited into a band-only version because of something to do with the video being released in late spring/early summer and weren't "allowed" to show snow, or something like that.

That's funny - had nothing to do with a guy throwing himself off a building and 'appearing' to commit suicide or anything, they just aren't allowed to show snow!

Yah. The AALY new edit was odd, it just seemed like a video about the band and clips of a relationship. Cutting the main plot out just confused it.
