I always thought that was just me. When the album first came out and was being played full blast I always thought our phone was ringing in the other room and ran out to see who was on the phone. It took me a while to realise it was always in the Dry County solo when this happened so it must just be on the album.

LOL, yeah that happened to me also. At time I was still living at home so most of the time I was listening while having a headphone on, how many times I pressed pause during that ring...

nope...can't hear it. i tried with and without headphones. can you give me the minute? or is it the first solo?

Around 6.45 on my original cd (also listened to remastered on but can't here it there)

Has been discussed before on this board, I know my mind is not playing tricks on me


Though of course is arugable its a actual phone or Dave's keyboard making a (inappropate) sound

Well I only have the remastered one, so that is perhaps why I haven't ever heard this.

I heard it. That's not a phone ringing...it's just a weird keyboard sound.
