Bon Jovi and Jewel will be in town Tuesday for a fund-raiser concert. Bon Jovi sent its new single to country radio. Wednesday, the band is making another decidedly Nashville move. Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora said they will be among those playing a benefit show here Tuesday night. Aspiring country singer Buck Jones has been in town for 10 years trying to make it, but he was killed in a traffic accident early Saturday morning in his native Texas. On Tuesday, big-name singers inside and outside town will gather at the Cannery Ballroom to raise money for his widow and their infant son, Walker Dylan. Bon Jovi, Big & Rich and Jewel are confirmed so far for the acoustic show. This came together because Buck and Jon Bon Jovi have a mutual friend, pop singer/songwriter Billy Falcon. It's a personal story for Billy, who lost his wife when their child was only 4.

I'd like to go to this, but it's a 4 1/2 hour drive and I've been to Nashville the last two weekends. Will have to think about it.
