Question Jonīs vocal range

Hello,

Is there anyone here who knows what vocal range jon has shown in studio recordings? Or can anyone listen and findout?

What I mean is what is the lowest and highest note, including falsetto, that Jon has ever sung?

Cheers

Well, in the studio, the outro falsetto vocals in Runaway are perhaps the highest he has ever reached. And they are pretty darn high! The key change in Prayer is perhaps the highest hes gone without doing full blown falsetto. Maybe someone who knows better can tell you the notes that hes actually hitting.

Runaway was the highest Jon ever got. He ripped his vocal cords sometime in 89-95. Somewhere in there. After that, his doctor told him to try and not sing as high. I see Jon's vocals returning after the MAM performance.

In These Arms is pretty killer on the vocals to be honest because it starts so low and ends up going through the roof pitch-wise!

This makes it so much harder because, if you struggle with the high notes, you can only compensate by dropping the key so much before the lower notes become too low to reach comfortably.

Blaze Of Glory album got some strong vocal songs.
"...every dog will have his DAY" that's a deep Eb.

What about the key change on the always demo on the box set? That seems extremely high to me.

It sounds not normal, I have a feeling that that demo is pitched somehow.

Why would a DEMO be pitch shifted? Usually, demos are less produced than final recordings.

The highest note in Prayer is an Eb... wo-HO <= there it is.

He hit highest notes on these songs he has ever sung;

Runaway
Roulette
She don't know me
Love Lies

First 3 album's songs are killer. There are lots of extremely high notes on "Brekout","Let It Rock","Livin' On A Prayer" especially "Never Say goodbye".There are also couple of killer screams on "Only Lonely","Price Of Love" and "Hardest Part Is The Night"
