Default Album Titles

I love this topic, so I will try to keep what I'm saying to a minimum!!

Bon Jovi albums - what they could have been called!!

BJ have usually (until recent times) had different names for their albums before release. I would like to hear from anyone that has heard any different titles to the albums of the band. My list is as follows:

Bon Jovi - (was going to be called) Tough Talk

7800 Fahrenheit - ?????

SWW - Wanted Dead or Alive

NJ - Sons of Beaches

Blaze of Glory - ???

KTF - Revenge

TD - Open All Night

Destination Anywhere - Midnight in Chelsea

Crush - Sex Sells

Bounce - "One" or "Won"

TLFR - ???

100 Million - On the Steps to Graceland

HAND - (has always been HAND, as far as I know)

LH - (same deal as HAND)

For a while Slippery was going to be called "Guns and Roses".

Jon read about the band GNR (before they were famous) in a newspaper, and thought it would be a great album title, as the album had songs about cowboys (guns) and love songs (roses).

Would have been interesting if they had stuck with that title hey?

Watch Jon talk about it here

'Sex Sells' was such a great album title IMO.

I wish they had stuck to this instead of 'Crush'

I think the whole album changed though from what they had originally planed in 1999. For one the producer died and they then took a different route with it.

I would be really interested to know what the track list would have been for 'Sex Sells' JBJ talks about this on the 1998 Fan club video as being an all out 'Rock' album.

I also think 'Bounce' is a lame album title. Maybe 'The Distance' or 'Undivided' would have worked better?

Accoding to the JBJ biography that I own (allthough there are quite a few mistakes in it) it is said that Keep The Faith was originally meant to be titled "Believe". But then the record company found out, that there was a huge commercial campaign by Reebok, that was also gong to be called Believe and the title was changed. Dunno if this is true though...

A few thoughts.

1) Crush was nearly called One Wild Night also
2) I believe is also copywritten as having the title "Believe" so I definetely believe this
3) I've said it a million times, had the album contiuned down the path it was at, it would NOT have been an all out rock album, quite the opposite.

I think the debut also had "Talk On Corners" as a working title, could be mistaken, though.
