That is the whole lot . i think that there were some good and crap people in there who should not have been and some people should be high than they were.

it also had richie's little choice which he could make up his mind.
here is what it said.

"well lets see. it's gotta be clapton and hendrix and pagey and, uh, let's see who else. Stevie Ray Vaughan, i think, and Beck!Jeff Beck! i mean, i could go on because there's a lot more. but those particular guys, you know, they've just been my favourites. And then you listen to a guy like Al di Meola who's just a ridiculous guitar player: i love to listen to him play. There's so many good players out there, it's really hard to pin down just five. Maybe if you asked me for 20 , i could go on and on. but unfortunatley, i'm late for a session, so i gotta boogie...."

that what it said for his favourates just thought you might have wanted to know that.
reply and tell me what you think of the top 100 or whatever

see ya! :P

Thing is though, a lot of people who are not too familiar with the band (and even some who are) will not know that Richie even exists. Most people will probably think that Jon is the band. I know that sucks, but still 28 ain't too bad (I understand what people are saying about Kurt Cobain though. Also, Joe Perry at only 39 is just stupid)

Ah well, get all the people who voted for this Top 20 together, play 'em Dry County, and watch as their eyeballs pop out in amazement. Heh heh heh....

Keep On Rockin'

Thanks for posting the list!!!
I was wondering if Richie was on it. And I agree that 28 is pretty good for Richie. I didn't expect to see him so high since everyone's always slagging Bon Jovi.

I think people slag off JBJ and his lyrics not the musical structure. If he wrote some deeper cryptic lyrics and kept the music the same they would be hailed as Genius'.

Thata the way I see it anyway.

thanks for posting this list- but in my oppinion it is quite ridiculous... the placing of phenomenons like john mclaughlin and django reinhardts... then al di meola, paco de lucia and tim reynolds are missing and as far as i've seen steve lukather who can play so fast that the speakers can't react anymore is missing either- but then clapton nr. 3 and richards n.21... this list is totally wicked...

Oh my God Tom Delonge !! what a troll..this is ridiculous...this guy could have just a 'squier' signature..that is a shame !!for my part.. I will vote for richie (of course) ..then Jimi hendrix, jimmy page, ritchie blackmore,David Gilmour, angus young, Brian may., carlos santana. rory gallagher.. and for the ' shredders "john petrucci...Vai and Satriani are very good technicians...but a bit boring...(like Ingwie in fact) I prefer petrucci..one remark..ok for keith richards...but in the best albums of the stones..there's is Mick taylor..

I think Richie is humbled and flattered to be among all these greats. Bet he didn't expect #28. It's pretty cool. Richie isn't bothered too much by these things though. However, it keeps bugging us that DA MAN is the most underrated guitarist in the music biz. At the end of the day all that matters is that Richie is the #1 for millions of Bon Jovi fans out there.
